Jews and Christians are coming together in Austin — not to debate theology, not to paper over their differences, but to open the Hebrew Bible together, study God’s word side by side, and build the kind of genuine friendship that both communities need right now.
On Saturday afternoon, August 1, Rabbi Elie Mischel — Director of Education at Israel365 and author of Countdown: American Jews and God’s Plan for Redemption, The War Against the Bible, and Shabbat Revolution — will lead an afternoon of Bible study and fellowship at the Shalom Austin campus.
There is no cost to attend. Light refreshments will be served.

Rabbi Elie Mischel is the Director of Education at Israel365, the editor of HaMizrachi magazine, and the author of Countdown: American Jews and God’s Plan for Redemption, The War Against the Bible, and Shabbat Revolution. Before making aliyah in 2021, he served as the rabbi of Congregation Suburban Torah in Livingston, NJ and practiced as a corporate attorney at Day Pitney, LLP. He lives with his family in Efrat, Israel.
